What happens
Clark Kent, a reporter for the Daily Planet, and Governor Carson attend the dedication of the national monument at Buffalo Hills. Kent warns the governor not to go, because the superintendent was recently killed and two watchmen have fallen from the cliff. Carson insists, and the governor's party drives toward the ceremony while a man named Pete Flores, with a helper called Stachi, prepares a hidden explosive set to go off when the noon gun fires. Kent notices a suspicious car on the cliff in his photographs and goes to investigate, where he learns of the plot and acts to stop it.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
