What happens
Clark Kent is assigned by editor Perry White to search for Captain Alonzo Craig, an Arctic explorer missing for three years, and for reporter Ray Martin and Professor Peters, who have also vanished while investigating the islands north of Ellesmere Land. Paula Craig, Alonzo's twin sister, brings White a ring that she believes came from her brother, but Kent notices the ring is not Alonzo's. Kent travels north by ship with Captain Walters, who hears rumors of a legendary treasure called the Luck of the North. The story ends with the ship trapped among icebergs in heavy fog, and the episode closes on that cliffhanger.
