What happens
Badly weakened by the atomic power of Henry Miller, the Atom Man, and by starvation, Superman, who is Clark Kent, lies hidden in a secret cellar. Miller, disguised as an American Army officer, has destroyed Metropolis Stadium and threatened to destroy the whole city unless a Nazi swastika flies over City Hall. Police Inspector Henderson, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen search Central Railroad Station for Miller but lose him in the crowd. Later, Miller phones the mayor, claiming that Superman is dying, and the call is traced to a pay station. Following Miller's clue, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen go to Sydney's house, where they hear a thumping sound coming from the garage. This is Superman's own part of the Adventures of Superman radio series, broadcast in 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
