What happens
Jimmy Olsen and private detective Candy Myers search for the missing Clark Kent, who was last seen before he disappeared. Their questions lead them to Sidney, a retired businessman who had recently met Kent and who claims he only wanted to talk about Superman. Checking Sidney's account, they learn of a Nazi connection involving the Metropolis import glass company, which Sidney says he resigned from. Meanwhile, Kent lies helpless in a hidden cellar under Sidney's garage, weakened by kryptonite and unable to call out. The episode is the eleventh part of The Adventures of Superman, first aired on November 21, 1945.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
