What happens
Sydney, a fat and greedy schemer, visits the Scarlet Widow and her servant Snickers in their Metropolis hideout after midnight. The two are counting a large sum of money they have made by selling Kryptonite. Sydney reveals he knows they still hold the last piece and wants it for Henry Miller, the atom man. He threatens to inform the police if they refuse to sell it, and the Widow agrees to a price of one million dollars. Meanwhile, in Linwood, Jimmy Olsen and Sheriff Simpson go to the hospital to identify a badly injured man, only to find the bed empty. The story is part two of a serial from The Adventures of Superman, first broadcast on November 8, 1945.
