What happens
Clark Kent, reporter for the Daily Planet and secretly Superman, searches the Arctic for explorer Alonzo Craig, missing for over three years. With Professor Peters, Kent enters the sunken temple of the Cunalaka tribe beneath the ice and finds a witch doctor who turns out to be Craig himself, changed and dazed. Their fire heats a mechanism that opens a hidden door in the ice, revealing a passageway. The witch doctor escapes, is later recaptured and bound, and the two men begin moving a treasure while waiting for their companion Captain Walder to return. Indians then approach the temple, leaving Kent and Peters in danger as the episode closes.
