What happens

Clark Kent, Lois Lane, Perry White and Jimmy Olsen work to expose Martin Higgins, a corrupt political candidate, using letters that show his ties to racketeers. Mary Henig, a former juvenile delinquent who has taken a job at the Daily Planet, is working to steal the letters on behalf of Higgins. The staff run the letters in the newspaper, and Perry White has them locked in the morgue. Higgins responds by filing a million-dollar slander suit against the paper and its staff. Part of the Adventures of Superman radio series, this episode first aired on May 29, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
