What happens

Commander Corey and Happy Hatfield of Space Patrol investigate the disappearance of Link Cronin, a mining engineer working for Edwin Westfall's corporation on Saturn's fifth moon. Cronin's mysterious absence is part of a wider pattern, with other people vanishing across several planets and then turning up unharmed near where they were last seen. Cronin contacts the patrol by radio and insists on conditions for his release, prompting the two men to land on Jupiter's fourth moon. Inside a strange dome-shaped ship, they encounter an unseen alien voice and a towering robot. The episode is a serial installment, and this guide covers only its opening portion.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
