What happens

Commander Buzz Corey and Cadet Happy of the Space Patrol investigate a wave of assaults on patrol officers across the solar system, which they come to believe is the work of a criminal gang. A headquarters clerk named Walter Reiner is implicated in a note about an upcoming robbery, and Corey follows the gang's radio trail to a hideout on Venus. Thad Bogan, a gang member, uses a paralyzing ray against the two officers and sets fire to his building. The story follows the pursuit up the steep slopes of Mount Johnak, where Bogan carries a stolen light neutralizer. The Space Patrol series is broadcast as a radio adventure, and this episode aired on 1954-02-27.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
