What happens

Buzz Corey and Cadet Happy, of the Space Patrol, investigate the cabin of mountaineer Matt Henshaw on Mount Rolcab on Venus. Henshaw has vanished, and the cabin shows signs of long absence. Their inquiries lead them to an escaped criminal, Hulk Sherman, and his partner Endicott, who have landed near a rain-exposed old spaceship. Buzz and Happy find the ship half buried in a landslide, and the story turns on a dangerous mountainside where the wreck begins to slide. The episode is part of the Space Patrol radio series, first broadcast on January 30, 1954.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
