What happens

Commander Corey and cadet Happy travel to Mercury to investigate the vanishing of valuable cargo from inner-planet spaceports. On the planet they answer a distress call from a damaged cargo ship piloted by Prentice, and find themselves trapped in a compartment before they can free him. Meanwhile Jason Cutler, head of Tri-Orbit Space Lines, and his assistant Rock Van Dorn discuss a special run of Marvelite that Prentice has been hired to carry. Corey and Happy turn their attention to Cutler after learning he hired Prentice despite the pilot's poor record with other lines. The episode is part of the Space Patrol series.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
