What happens
Commander Buzz Corey and Cadet Happy of the Space Patrol investigate the escape of criminal Valmer Castro from the Criminal Rehabilitation Center on Mars. Dr. Ernest Blake, inventor of the cerebroscope, a device said to amplify intelligence, travels to Terra to report his discoveries, and Corey grows uneasy after learning that Castro escaped with the help of Blake's assistant, Rhoda Nexen. The Space Patrol follows the trail toward Mercury, where Castro has built a hideout guarded by robots. This is the first part of the episode as the transcript presents it, and it is a space adventure series broadcast on radio.
