What happens

Buzz Corey and Happy investigate suspected illegal activity on Titan, Saturn's sixth moon, after reports of a black market in food and medical supplies. Corey sends his assistant Tonga ahead, and the pair then follow a hidden shaft toward a uranium mine, where they find themselves trapped as water begins rising in the tunnel. The story centers on the tense conflict between Corey and Captain Gustav Kruger, an aging pilot whose broken-down ship, the Lonesome Lena, has been barred from landing at Titan Center. The episode is part of the Space Patrol radio series, first broadcast December 27, 1952.

Characters: Buzz Corey, Happy, Tonga, Captain Gustav Kruger, Sherwin McCurdy

Listen for: The sound of the pump engine in the flooded mine shaft, and the exchange at Titan Center where Corey enforces the landing regulations against Kruger

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
