What happens

Commander Corey and Happy of the Space Patrol investigate sabotage aimed at Dr. Berman's project to build a transparent electroplast shell around a small satellite of Venus. Dr. Berman, an inventor, explains that the shell will be blown up in space and then hardened by cutting off electromagnetic waves. Former partner Kogar and his associate Drovik plot to destroy the project, first by sabotaging a tunnel car loaded with explosives, then by trapping Corey and Happy in a block house. The two officers escape by melting the locked room's electroplast walls and pursue the criminals across space to Saturn. The episode is a 1952 installment of the Space Patrol radio series.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
