What happens

Buzz Corry and Happy Hackney, Space Patrol officers, watch from their Star Drive ship as Taranian forces prepare to invade the United Planets. Overhearing a Taranian plan to later strike a neighbouring star, they discover a damaged spaceship drifting near a meteor. Its pilot, a stranger from another solar system, has been badly hurt. Buzz and Happy carry him aboard their own ship, but a Taranian patrol vessel is closing in on the meteor, and they must decide whether to escape or stay and help the injured man.

Deep space near the outermost planet of a remote solar system in the constellation Pegasus, including Taranian spaceports and a meteor drifting near a wrecked ship.

Characters: Buzz Corry, Happy Hackney, Omar, General Mogmeer, Smeade, Kasorik

Listen for: Listen for the moment Buzz and Happy decide whether to blast off or stay with the injured stranger, and for the Taranian officers' talk of their invasion calendar.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
