What happens
Edgar Bergen learns from a phone call that the Lady Esther Screen Guild Players will present Walt Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on radio, with Mary Jane Smith as Snow White and Charles Kemper as one of the dwarfs. Bergen is offered the role of the Prince, and he and Charlie McCarthy discuss the story. Charlie asks to hear it, and Bergen tells the tale in an extended retelling: a wicked queen, a princess in hiding, and a cottage full of seven dwarves. The dwarves are introduced, including Sneezy, who sneezes at the mention of a certain word, and Bashful, who explains his size. The episode ends with a call that reveals the production is actually a different show, and Bergen signs off.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
