What happens

Patrick O'Toole, a radio reporter, pursues Catherine Butterworth, an alleged American heiress engaged to the Austrian Baron Franz von Lubier, who has threatened to remove him from Vienna. Disguised as a French dressmaker, O'Toole visits her apartment and begins an uneasy exchange of barbs. Their story follows the baron's movements through Czechoslovakia and Poland as the German army advances, and O'Toole's suspicions about the baron grow. This episode of the Screen Guild Theater aired on July 26, 1943, starring Ray Milland and Linda Darnell in the RKO comedy Once Upon a Honeymoon. The transcript covers only the first two acts of the play.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
