What happens
Kate Grant, a photographer for Mirror magazine, is a sharp-tongued professional whose editor, Mr. Christie, sends her to shoot a new river tunnel. There she clashes with Ryan, a brawny tunnel worker who ignores her. Later, Kate's sister Hoppy and their friend Henry Fulton appear, and Kate and Ryan's bickering escalates. This is the Screen Guild Theater radio adaptation of the 1944 comedy No Time for Love, broadcast June 19, 1944, starring Claudette Colbert, Fred MacMurray and Hedda Hopper.
Hollywood and New York in the 1940s, including a magazine office, a river tunnel construction site, and Kate's apartment.

Listen for: The bickering between Kate and Ryan as their attraction develops, and Kate's photographs from the tunnel.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
