What happens

In 1700s New Orleans, Captain Richard Warrington and his soldiers rescue a group of casket girls from pirates and bring them to the colony. Among them is Marietta Fresini, who is quick-witted and independent, and who quickly draws the captain's attention. When the governor questions her credentials, Richard vouches for her, but Marietta soon disappears, leaving him to search the city. This Screen Guild Theater broadcast of Naughty Marietta stars Alan Jones and Irene Manning, and is based on Victor Herbert's operetta.

Listen for: Captain Warrington's search for Marietta after she vanishes, and the song that passes between them

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
