What happens

Julius Mallett, president of the Academy of Music and owner of the Monarch Music Company, quietly sends secret scholarship checks to Amelia Cornell, a talented young violinist. Her friend Tony Baldwin, the company's general manager, grows uneasy about the payments and the favors Mallett seems to be arranging for her. Tony and Amelia begin seeing each other, and Mallett's checks cause growing trouble between them. This is the Screen Guild Theater's radio premiere of My Love Came Back, broadcast on March 16, 1941, starring Olivia de Havilland, Robert Young and Charles Winninger. Tony's romance with Amelia develops as the complications around Mallett deepen.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
