What happens
On a ship sailing from Rio to New York, Terry McKay meets Michael Mornay, a wealthy international playboy, after a cablegram blows into her cabin. Despite her engagement to Kenneth, Terry and Michael grow close during their voyage and make an emotional pledge to meet in six months to decide their future together. This Screen Guild Theater broadcast presents the romantic drama Love Affair, adapted from the film and starring Madeleine Carroll and Melvin Douglas, with Roger Pryor as host.
