What happens

Larry Stevens, a cub reporter on the evening news, meets Sylvia, a young woman who performs a mind-reading act with Professor Sigalini at Eaton Gardens. Larry becomes enchanted with her after a strange encounter, and soon finds himself reporting on events that have not yet happened. Pop Fenson, the elderly keeper of the newspaper files, seems to know more than he admits. Lady Esther presents the Screen Guild Players in this radio adaptation of the 1944 film It Happened Tomorrow, which first aired on September 25, 1944, with Linda Darnell, Dick Powell and Frank Craven in the leading roles.

A city newspaper office, Eaton Gardens, and the streets of the city in the 1890s.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
