What happens

Lawrence Wilson, a respectable chairman of an anti-vice committee from Habersville, is rescued from the sea after a drunken incident on an ocean cruise. Waking with a blow to the head, he believes he is George Kerry, a con man, and that it is 1932. Con man Doc Ryan joins him in a scheme to exploit the town's oil. The Screen Guild Theater broadcast of I Love You Again aired on January 17, 1944, with William Powell, Paulette Goddard and Charles Winninger in the leading roles, adapted from a novel by Octavus Roy Cohen.

An ocean liner, then the town of Habersville, Pennsylvania

Characters: Lawrence Wilson, Kay Wilson, Doc Ryan, Duke Sheldon, Mr. Hoxburg

Listen for: Wilson's confusion after his head injury, and Kay's growing exasperation with her husband's penny-pinching ways

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
