What happens
Mortimer Brewster, a New York drama critic, learns that his sweet elderly aunts, Abby and Martha Brewster, have been poisoning lonely old gentlemen who board with them in Brooklyn and burying them in the cellar. Tonight he discovers a body in the window seat of their parlor, and his aunts casually admit it is one of their gentlemen. Mortimer's brother Teddy, who believes he is Theodore Roosevelt, digs the graves, and Mortimer tries to make sense of the family's ghastly habits. Eddie Albert plays Mortimer, and Boris Karloff appears as Jonathan, the brother who has returned to the house. The Screen Guild Theater presents this stage comedy adaptation, first broadcast on November 25, 1946.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
