What happens
Radio reporter Larry Lawrence, a famous crime buster, is approached by Mary Carter, who has inherited Castillo Maldito, a castle on Black Island off the coast of Cuba, and fears it is haunted. Larry reluctantly agrees to accompany her after receiving threatening messages. Aboard ship to Cuba, they meet Jeff Montgomery, who warns them about the island's legends. Larry and Mary travel to the island, where the castle holds eerie sounds, a coffin, and an inscription that hints at a hidden key. Series: Screen Directors Playhouse, broadcast on NBC on June 14, 1951, starring Bob Hope.
