What happens
Dr. Constance Peterson, a psychiatrist at Green Manors in Vermont, becomes involved with a patient who believes he killed his father. When the new Chief of Staff, Dr. Edwards, is found to be an impostor, Constance struggles to learn who the man is and what he has done. Her patient, who has lost his memory, insists he is guilty and begins to remember fragments of his past. Constance takes him to Rochester to consult Dr. Brulov, a former mentor. This is the Screen Director's Playhouse radio adaptation of the 1945 Hitchcock film Spellbound, broadcast on NBC on January 25, 1951, starring Joseph Cotten and Mercedes McCambridge.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
