What happens
Lou Proctor, attorney for Raymond Dunmore Jr., presents his case to a congressional board investigating the expulsion of young Raymond from West Point. Raymond was dismissed after cadet captain Rockwell Gilman accused him of lying about a speech insulting upperclassmen. Proctor argues that the academy's Honor Committee is undemocratic and that Gilman has persecuted Raymond. Raymond's father describes his son's complaints of bullying, and Raymond recounts his harsh treatment as a plebe. The board then turns to Gilman's wartime record, including his service in North Africa and a painful episode that followed. This is the Screen Directors Playhouse presentation of Beyond Glory, starring Alan Ladd as Rocky Gilman and Peter Hansen as Lachlan.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
