What happens
Ranger Bill and Gray Wolf are asked by Running Fox, the son of the ailing Chief White Feather, to help him speak to his father about Jesus before the old chief dies. Running Fox fears that speaking of Christ to his father would dishonor him, since a son is not supposed to appear wiser than his chief. Bill and Gray Wolf hurry to the tribal village, where the death dance has begun and Chief White Feather is to be carried to the sacred Whispering Cave. Running Fox must decide whether to speak before his people.
A Western reservation and the nearby Indian village, with a sacred Whispering Cave in the mountains, in the late 1800s.
Characters: Ranger Bill, Gray Wolf, Running Fox, Chief White Feather, Arrowhand, Henry, Stumpy
Listen for: Listen for Running Fox's decision when he stands before his father and his people, and for his brother Arrowhand's reaction.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
