What happens
Ranger Bill helps Jody and Jill, two young farm siblings, after their prize pig Tangerine disappears from the livestock fairgrounds on the morning of the judging. The children are worried because their family needs the prize money the contest offers. Bill and his friend Stumpy search the fairgrounds and then the highway, where a witness reports seeing a pig heading away from the grounds. A driver carrying hogs to the slaughterhouse has had an accident, and Bill follows the trail there to question the workers and check their records. The search is still underway in this part of the episode, with the clock running down toward the afternoon judging. The series is Ranger Bill, first broadcast on 1960-11-23.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
