What happens
Whitey Moore returns home to his family farm and ranch after graduating from the state agricultural college, carrying a diploma and eager to apply book farming methods. His father, Herman Moore, prefers the tried and proven ways of his decades of experience, and the two clash over milking, branding, and how the land should be worked. Whitey's brother Craig and younger brother Butch are caught between them. The episode is part of the Ranger Bill series and aired on May 15, 1957.
A family farm and ranch, the Nadi Pine station, and the nearby county agent's office in a small rural community.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
