What happens

Ranger Bill investigates a dynamite accident at the Brown Brothers Quarry, where a premature blast traps several workers beneath fallen rock. Wes Brown and his younger brother Jack run the quarry, and Ranger Bill and his fellow rangers, including Stumpy and Henry, organize the rescue effort. Stumpy's constant harmonica playing has irritated the others and the cook Chan throughout the day. Later, as the rangers search for missing men in the caves beside the quarry, the harmonica becomes an unexpected tool. This episode is from the Ranger Bill radio series, first broadcast on November 11, 1959.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
