What happens

Ranger Bill investigates a dispute at Beaver Creek School, a small school outside Naughty Pine, where teacher Susan Anderson is accused of being prejudiced against sports. Her pupils Peter Clausen and Justin Alexander have been kept after school for drawing basketball plays instead of studying grammar, and their fathers, Mel Clausen and Lou Alexander, are angry. Bill and his companions Sonny and the old-timer look into the friction around the school. The story is part of the Ranger Bill radio series, first broadcast on November 24, 1954.

Listen for: Susan Anderson's account of the accusations against her and the letters read at the school board hearing

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
