What happens

Henry Scott and Ranger Bill Jefferson travel to Brighton College for homecoming, where Henry's young friend Ronnie Winters is a student. A fire breaks out in an old army barracks on campus, injuring the janitor, Ed Howard. Officials begin to suspect arson, and the college's reputation is at stake. Ronnie is worried about how events unfolded and about his own role, and he struggles with whether to speak up. The story follows the investigation and the pressure on Ronnie as the fire's cause is examined.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
