What happens
Skinner McNeil, an old mule skinner, drives a team of twelve mules hauling sand for the Mountain Refining Company near Nazy Pine. When the new boss decides to replace the mules with trucks and sell the animals, Skinner refuses and a violent confrontation follows. Skinner is arrested and brought before Judge Wilson, who sets up a contest between the mules and the trucks to settle whether the mules are still worth keeping. Ranger Bill and Stumpy are appointed as referees, and the outcome of the contest and the trial are set against the question of how the old ways give way to new ones. The story is one of the Ranger Bill radio series. The air date and cast are not given in the transcript.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
