What happens
Ranger Bill Jefferson and his colleague Grey Wolf are called to a supermarket, where a manager reports a cougar has taken over the store and chased out the customers. Bill and Grey Wolf find the animal is a tame young cat, drawn to the liniment on Grey Wolf's hands. The manager's nerves are shaken, and the rangers must decide how to handle the animal. Stumpy, who has been injured earlier, looks on with comic commentary as the morning unfolds around the supermarket and the ranger headquarters.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
