What happens
Ranger Bill finds his rangers in a stubborn mood when Doc Jones leaves for a long vacation and a new woman doctor, Madge Benson, arrives from New York City to take over. Henry Scott is quickly smitten with her, which leaves his sweetheart Mary Lou Thompson out in the cold. Madge and Bill work out a way to ease Henry back toward Mary Lou, while the rangers tease the newcomer and the old-timer Stumpy refuses to accept her medical skill. The story is told through its early and middle scenes, with the rangers' rivalries and romantic tangles at the center.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
