What happens
Ranger Bill follows the boys and staff of a church summer camp, where Henry is lifeguard, Stumpy Jenkins runs wood lore, and Maggie Murphy does the cooking. Early on, the buses arrive and the campers settle into swimming with their buddies, cleaning the kitchen, and a campfire. Then Maggie's pie goes missing, and the staff begin to suspect the boys. The campers are taken on a snipe hunt, where they learn lessons about sportsmanship and patience. The thefts continue, and Maggie grows frustrated and threatens to leave camp. Henry and Stumpy plan a night watch in the kitchen to catch the culprit.
A church summer camp in the forest, with cabins, a beach, a dining hall and kitchen, and a campfire area.

Listen for: Maggie's frustration over the missing food, and the snipe hunt lesson about sportsmanship and patience.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
