What happens

Dan Tro, the Planet Man, is a troubleshooter for the League of Planets. In this episode, Professor John Darrow, his daughter Pat, the engineer Slats, and the young stowaways Billy and Jane are aboard the first Earth rocket to the moon. Their ship has lost power and is heading for a crash, so Pat suggests they go into orbit around the moon instead. The crew works to steer the ship while oxygen runs low and the cabin grows stuffy. Slats, despairing, tries to sacrifice himself, but the Professor stops him. Then the crew spots another ship beside them, and Dan Tro appears from it, introducing himself and offering help.

Aboard the Earth rocket Constitution, in orbit around the moon, and then aboard Dan Tro's ship nearby.

Characters: Dan Tro, Professor John Darrow, Pat, Slats, Billy, Jane

Listen for: The crew's manoeuvre to enter lunar orbit, and the arrival of Dan Tro, the Planet Man, from the other ship.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
