What happens
Connie Brooks, the English teacher at Madison High School, resolves to forget her romance with Mr. Boynton, the shy biology teacher, after their dates grow frustratingly chaste. Her landlady, Mrs. Davis, tries to help by repeatedly reminding her of him, and Connie begins seeing Boynton's face and hearing his voice in strangers, including a new postman, a schoolboy, and a visitor named Abernathy. Principal Conklin and Walter Denton also appear in the school scenes. The episode is from the CBS Radio series Our Miss Brooks, first broadcast July 10, 1955, starring Eve Arden, Gale Gordon, Jeff Chandler and Richard Crenna.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
