What happens

Our Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High, is frustrated that her six-year relationship with biology instructor Philip Boynton has not progressed. Her landlady, Mrs. Davis, suggests that Connie cry to make him see her as a woman, and Connie tries the method on several people at school. Meanwhile, Mrs. Davis's cat Minerva has gone missing, and Connie's own tearful behavior leads others to misunderstand what has happened. This is a 1955 CBS Radio broadcast, starring Eve Arden, with Gale Gordon and Richard Crenna in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
