What happens

Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, is summoned by her principal, Osgoode Conklin, who is in an unusually sour mood. Conklin is strict and rigid, and Miss Brooks is soon caught in a series of mishaps around the school. Walter Denton and Stretch Snodgrass find an old letter from the Board of Education in a closet, and their attempt to use it sets off a chain of events that affects everyone in the office. This Our Miss Brooks episode originally aired on CBS Radio on March 5, 1950, starring Eve Arden. The story is a comedy built around Conklin's temper and the faculty's reactions to it.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
