What happens
Miss Brooks, an English teacher at Madison High School, brings her cat Minerva to school in a carrier to win the attention of Mr. Boynton, the biology teacher, who loves animals. Principal Conklin, hunting for an animal that was smuggled onto campus, finds the cat and removes her collar to trace her owner. Walter Denton works to sneak Minerva out of the building and get her to a farm, where a delivery mix-up leaves a cow in Miss Brooks's classroom. Presented as part of the Our Miss Brooks series, this 1955 CBS Radio episode stars Eve Arden as Miss Brooks and Gale Gordon as Mr. Conklin, with Richard Crenna appearing in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
