What happens
Harry Lime meets an old acquaintance, Anna, in a casino on the Riviera and learns she has become close to Dr. Fodor, a wealthy Hungarian, at his villa. Anna tells Harry she suspects Professor Hans Conrich, a physicist about to leave for America on a secret project, is passing information to a communist agent named Paulio. Harry agrees to help her investigate, and the two set out to test her suspicion. The Mercury Theatre on the Air presents this episode, adapting the character of Harry Lime from The Third Man, with Orson Welles in the role. It was broadcast on June 20, 1952.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
