What happens
Lieutenant John Wilson is convicted by a military court of sabotaging a secret weapon, the flying torpedo, invented by Professor Archenault. Wilson protests his innocence, and General Leveitt is uneasy about the case. Commissioner Weston's men are busy, and the Shadow is drawn into the affair when Martin Prince asks him to look into it. The Mercury Theatre on the Air presents this adaptation of the Shadow, first broadcast on February 27, 1938.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
