What happens
Harry Lime, the rogue from The Third Man, pursues a music box after reading a dead Czech politician's letter that hints at a hidden fortune. He tracks down the three boxes bought from Douglas's antique shop in London, seeking Marna Chappick, the dead man's niece, and the rival collectors who have bought them. Lime questions the antique dealer, a nightclub singer, and a stern General Corcorp, each of whom has links to the boxes. The story is told in the present tense, and its episode is part of The Mercury Theatre on the Air series, which aired on October 5, 1951, with Orson Welles playing Lime.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
