What happens

Harry Lime, a con man posing as a sailor, meets the enigmatic Nadia at a bullfight in the Spanish seaport of Algeciras and wins a job as captain of her yacht. Aboard, he finds his predecessor's secrets, including a hidden cargo and dangerous explosives, and learns that Nadia's aim is to deliver gold to a Chinese general. This episode of The Mercury Theatre on the Air, first broadcast on 12 October 1951, stars Orson Welles as Harry Lime, with the character drawn from the film The Third Man. Lime's bold deceptions draw him further into a voyage that grows increasingly perilous and strange.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
