What happens

Irma Peterson and her roommate Jane Stacy, played by Marie Wilson and Cathy Lewis, are at home when Irma is working on her night school homework about New York landmarks. Their landlady, Mrs. O'Reilly, and their friends Al and Hans Conried's character Maestro Wanda Kim join them, and the group plans a picnic in Irma's chaotic style. Irma's homework leads to a driving lesson that takes the group out of the city into the countryside, where they arrive at a quiet spot. This is My Friend Irma, an OTRR singles episode first broadcast on CBS Radio on May 12, 1953. Hans Conried and Alan Reed also appear in the cast.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
