What happens

Mary Lee Taylor, a newly married friend of Sally Carter, asks Sally to store some of her belongings in the unfinished attic of the Carter home while she and her husband wait for their new apartment. Sally agrees, and Jim Carter begins clearing the attic to finish it, with his young brother-in-law Rich helping him for a dollar. Rich starts exploring the cluttered space behind the partitions, and the two men uncover a hidden trunk and a cache of old silver. The episode is part of The Mary Lee Taylor Program, a daytime serial on the Columbia Broadcasting System, first broadcast on July 10, 1948.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
