What happens
The Euclydian island of Euclydia rises from the sea, and Captain Tex Bradford and Elaine Raleigh race to keep its people trapped beneath the water. With the island surfacing, the Euclydians gain openings to escape, and Tex has only one charge of solvent left. He plans to flood the island's elevator shaft if the Euclydians advance. Meanwhile, Mrs. Gregory, Joan and Jerry at home try desperately to radio Tex and Elaine, growing anxious as dark approaches and no answer comes. Their boat, pushed to its limits, races toward the island.
