What happens
Captain Tex Bradford and Elaine prepare their flying rocket plane to take off from Lake Hollywood, helped by Jerry Hall and Jon Gregory. Strangers in a car watch from the highway, and Jerry and Joan Gregory are recognized and questioned by a newspaperman, who is eager for a story. The pilots escape across the lake while Jerry and Joan race away by car, and the chase continues on the winding hill roads above Hollywood. Their plan is to keep the reporter and his companions from getting their story out, and Jerry blocks a narrow one-way road to delay the pursuers. A police officer arrives as the tangle of stopped cars grows.
